Painting Ben's Bedroom

We had been talking about buying Ben a twin bed for Christmas/his birthday, so we went out to price them last week. Of course, we came across a floor sample sale that we couldn't resist, and bought a bed last Wednesday. This pushed us to finally get our butts in gear and paint Ben's room.

Ben working hard removing the border around the room. Honestly,

he was more of a help than a hindrance!

Transition of the room from yellow and pink to blue.

Ben taking a well-earned break on his baby bed (formerly known as his big boy bed when we took the side off his crib) while Mummy and Daddy put the second coat of paint on the walls. He watched a DVD on Daddy's laptop while we painted around him.

Ta-dah! The finished product. It is amazing what we can accomplish in a week-end when we want to.
