Andrew and I have been trying to figure out which traditions we would like to adopt at Christmas. Giving back is one of the ones we are trying to instill in Benjamin.
Here is Ben with our shoebox for Operation Christmas Child (http://www.samaritanspurse.org/index.php/OCC/).
It wasn't exactly a shoebox, I decided to use a plastic bin with a cover that was the shape and size of a shoe box instead, and lined it with wrapping paper. Benjamin tried to convince me that the toy trucks were his, but in the end he did a great job of helping me fill it with toys, pencils, paper, soap and t-shirts. Then he came with me to drop it off and got a lollipop. He loved that lollipop.
