Note: We say "the policeman" but Ben has turned it into "kuhpoliceman", as in "I'm kuhpoliceman!" Along the same vein, he still also says Tim Porton's instead of Tim Horton's.
Sometimes, however, he likes dressing up as a lady. Here we are sitting on my bed last week going through my treasure chest/jewelry box. That is an earring that he plugged into his ear. He also put Daddy's cuff links in there at one point. Notice the lovely butterfly tattoo. I love it! Andrew, not so much...
Ben woke up yesterday morning and was exploring one of the drawers in the bathroom. He wouldn't let me take a photo of him with his entire mouth covered in lipstick, but he was too busy painting his toenails later that morning to protest at the camera's presence.
It really is just a question of phases. The weather has been warming up and last week Ben saw Daddy go out running a couple of times. Here he is dressed up "just like a runner" with his too-small fall jacket, his new running shoes that are a size too big for him, and the hand-me-down gloves he received from a friend that are way too big for him. When he is dressed like a runner, "just like Daddy", he does laps around in a circle, looping through the living room, dining room and hallway at the bottom of the stairs.
